Tour Program

Day 1: Airport - Errachidia

Arrival at Er-rachidia airport, southeast of the country, transfer to your accommodation. We will spend the night in Er-rachidia.

Day 2: Excursion to the mountains

After breakfast, we will drive north, towards the canyons of the Ziz river, to our first destination, to excavate the pink mountains and explore an important geological site of a large number of fossilized Devonian species, before arriving at the site, we will driving in ancient villages and Kasbah, made of adobe; Built on both banks of the river, our lunch will be pic-nic in a small oasis. The afternoon will be for more excavations and explorations. In the late afternoon we return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Excursion to the Ghris valley

After breakfast, we will drive again to another destination in the High Atlas, this time to the west in the Ghris canyons near a Berber village, to explore another Devonian rock site and discover the richness hidden there at the foot of the hills, lunch is pic-nic by the river in a beautiful place, later in the afternoon we return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Errachidia - Desert

As every day we go out after breakfast, but today accompanied by our suitcases, we are traveling further southeast to Merzouga, there we will explore different fossil sites, and different Devonian periods, Before going to the hotel we will have lunch as will always be of the mine a picnic dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Excursion to the desert

Today we are invited to get up early to take a camel ride to see the sunrise above the sand dunes, return to the hotel, have breakfast and continue to explore another part of the Sahara desert, rich with dinosaur and shark teeth, the site is an arid desert valley; Lunch again is very light, like every day. In the late afternoon we return to the hotel, have dinner at the hotel. Prepare the suitcase to leave the next day to the airport.

Day 6: Desert - Airport

First thing in the morning transfer to Er-rachidia airport.
