Tour Program

Day 1: Airport - Errachidia

Arrival at Er-rachidia airport in the southeast of the country, greetings and transfer to your accommodation. We will spend the night in Er-rachidia.

Day 2: Errachidia - Ghriss Valley

After breakfast, we will head to our first destination in the High Atlas, Goulmima, to the west, in the Ghris canyons, near a Berber village, to explore the Devonian rocks and discover the richness hidden at the foot of the hills, to explore many fossil species from the Devonian period. lunch is pic-nic together at the river in a beautiful place, later in the afternoon we return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Errachidia - Desert

After breakfast, accompanied by our suitcases, we will travel further southeast to Merzouga, to discover a new Devonian era site; There we will explore different fossil sites of different periods of the time (Amounits, Orthoceras .....), our lunch will always be first class. Later, at sunset, we will take a camel ride, we will observe and admire the sun as it sets in the sand of the Sahara desert, dinner at the hotel. Night in Merzouga.

Day 4: Excursion to the desert

After breakfast, we again explore another part of the Sahara desert, rich in dinosaurs and shark-tooth fossils, the site that is in an arid desert valley; Lunch is again, like a picnic every day. In the late afternoon we return to the hotel, on our way, if we pass for a nomadic family, we can have tea and learn from their life, have dinner at the hotel..

Day 5: Desert - Merzouga

After an early breakfast, we will drive for 100 km through the Anti Atlas mountains, to discover the hidden treasure of the Cambrian mines, rich in different spices. Later we will go to the Ordovician mine site, lunch is like every day, picnic in the shade of the acacia trees, later the excavation and exploration continues in the afternoon, return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation. Tonight is to prepare the bags to fly back home.

Day 6: Merzouga - Errachidia

First thing in the morning transfer to Er-rachidia airport.
