Tour Program

Day 1: Airport - Errachidia

Arrival at Er-rachidia airport in the southeast of the country, greeting and transfer to the hotel. We will spend the night in Er-rachidia.

Day 2: Errachidia - Ziz Valley - Midelt

After breakfast, we will drive north to the Ziz River canyons, to our first destination to explore an important Devonian geological site, to excavate the beautiful Pink Mountains. Before reaching our site, we will be driving through ancient villages and Kasbahs, made of adobe built on both banks of the river. Lunch will be collected pic-nic in a small oasis near the site. The afternoon will be for more excavations and explorations. In the late afternoon we headed to the hotel; Dinner at the hotel, accommodation in Midelt.

Day 3: Midelt - Mibladen - Ahouli

After breakfast, we head east, to explore some mines near Mibladen rich in barite, cerusit and vanadinites (very difficult to find), there we will have the experience of digging with the locals and delving into the mines. Later we will go to the Ahouli mines, old mines of barite, kohl, zinc. The ghost town of miners still stands with its team. Lunch in the valley, explore the place and the mines, later in the afternoon drive to the hotel, have dinner and relax; Night in Midelt.

Day 4: Midelt - Sidi Ayad

The morning after breakfast, we drive again to the northern foothills of the High Atlas, near a town called Sidi Ayad, to explore azurite, malachite and fluorite mines. All day we will explore and excavate the mines and the hills. Picnic lunch, return to the hotel. overnight in Midelt.

Day 5: Midelt - Ifrane - Fez

After breakfast we leave through the Atlas Mountains towards Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco, walls of the 8th century, full of historical sites, will be your journey back in time; We will be on a guided tour in the afternoon accompanied by a local guide to visit many interesting places and historical sites among the old walls of the Medina, the old Al karaouien mosque, the leather tanneries and many beautiful doors and gates in the great maze made of streets. We will spend the night in a riad in the Medina with bed and breakfast, dinner this time is not included.

Day 6: Fez - Airport

After breakfast, you still have time in the morning to do your last activities and shopping in the Medina before transfer to Fez airport.
