Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi N 'Tichka - Dades Gorges
Our 5-day tour of Marrakech through the desert begins when we pick you up from your hotel to drive through the port of Tizi-N-Tichka at 2260m, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying the beautiful, ornate landscapes with Berber villages, scattered plots on the slopes of the valley. The path in the mountains is very spectacular. At noon we arrived at the ancient Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou where many well-known films were shot, a town built of mud, camouflaged in the color of the desert, with a long history. We continue to Ouarzazate to visit Kasbah Taourirt. Later we continue our tour passing through the Valley of the Roses to reach the Dades gorges where we stay at the hotel with dinner.
Day 2: Dades - Merzouga
The tour continues exploring the Dades gorges, then the Todra gorges, the famous pink rock canyon, a place of rock climbing, and very spectacular contrast of colors in panoramic views. Then we pass some Berber villages dotted in the desert to reach Erfoud, famous for its fossil products. Passing the valley of Ziz palm trees, we continue towards Rissani and the Erg Chebbi desert. Accommodation in hotel. We can enjoy some activities in the desert like riding Quads or Buggys to see the sunset in the desert. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Total Desert
Today we explore the Sahara desert deeply. We visit a nomadic family where we have tea and learn closely about their daily ways of life. We visit the village of Khamlia to enjoy a scene of local Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza lunch at a local restaurant, and then in the afternoon we will prepare for a camel ride through the desert. We will spend the night in the desert camp, with traditional Berber dinner, while listening to traditional music, around the campfire.
Day 4: Merzouga - Ouarzazate
Our Sahara desert tour continues to get up early for a camel ride to watch the sunrise above the dunes. After breakfast at the hotel, we will then head towards Rissani, where we can explore the local souk. We drive towards Agdez, pass the Draa valley with an impressive palm grove with canyons of black volcanic rock. to get to the city of Ouarzazate. Here we explore local film studios, and the central kasbah Taourirt. We spend the night in Ouarzazatte with dinner and breakfast.
Day 5: Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Our tour ends today, we get up, After breakfast we leave to cross the High Atlas mountains to reach Marrakech by noon, today we can visit the Majorel botanical gardens. And after turning around the ancient walls of the Medina. We leave you at your hotel or at any desired place in Marrakech.
