Day 1: Airport - Marrakech
Upon arrival in Marrakech our driver will be waiting for you greet you, and transfer to the Medina, free time to discover the red city. Accommodation in the Medina.
Day 2: Ouarzazate - the valley of roses - Dades valley
After breakfast, we leave through the High Atlas through the port of Tizi n'Tichka, making spectacular photographic and panoramic stops; At noon we arrive at the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site, and it is the setting for many famous films such as Gladiator, Larense of Arabia, Mission Impossible, Babel ... Later we passe by Ouarzazate, the city of film studios. Stop to take photos and continue towards the valleys; Skoura, Roses and arrive at the valley of the roses where we will stay, with dinner and breakfast.
Day 3: Toudra Gorges - Merzouga
We leave in the morning to the east; We pass through the Toudra Valley, the desert orchard, a spectacular valley born within the canyons of the High Atlas Mountains that penetrates the desert, giving an emphatic image to the harsh, but very special agricultural life. We will arrive at the gorges of the same valley where the river that feeds all this desert paradise is born, a very pleasant walk that we can walk in the shadow of the high walls of the canyon of more than 300 meters high. After walking, we are already halfway to our final destination, passing through the city of fossils, it is called Arfoud, we can visit one of the fossil polishers. Erfoud is the door of the desert, in 40 km we stop to take the first photos of the dunes, we arrive at the hotel and prepare to continue the desert experience crossing the fine sand dunes with the dromedaries, it is a stage to enjoy a lot. Day 4: Merzouga - Desert
Today is a day of total desert, after breakfast we will visit the fossil quarries where they extract blocks. We continue to visit a family of nomads who live in the desert, raising flocks. We will visit the village of Khamlia, a sub-Saharan black town, known for typical African music, and then the famous city of Merzouga with its palm grove. Free afternoon. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 5: Merzouga - Midelt - Ifrane - Fes
After breakfast, we head north and leave the desert. On the way we pass by the largest palm grove in the country, the Ziz valley, between adobe (mud) villages. Later, between canyons of calcite rock, pink mountains adorned with small orchards, and Vergel, we make panoramic and photographic stops. At noon we reach Midelt, a little city; known with minerals and apple farming. Going through great natural changes of land and biological belts, on a mountain trip, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, then the Middle Atlas, reaching the cedar forests with their monkey colonies, we passed Ifrane the little Moroccan Switzerland with roofs of A frame roves like the towns of the Alps. Day 6: Explore Fes
Today is dedicated to exploring the city of Fes, on a guided tour of the Medina. With a local guide, after breakfast, we leave to contemplate the visit of the first imperial capital of the country, we start by car around the walls and towers of the Medina, passing the gate of the royal palace, the potters and the main gates. We finish at the main gate, leave the car and walk with the guide to discover the most beautiful and typical of the Medina of Fes, the alleys, the squares and the neighborhoods: Nejjarine, seffarine, leather tanneries and much more to discover. Day 7: Fez - Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we leave for Chefchaouen. We arrived at noon, 3 and a half hours away. We check into the hotel, and take free time to discover the small town, with its special charm with its Moorish Andalusian architecture, its fortified Kasbah, its narrow streets have a warm charm. At the source of the river where people gather in the afternoon. Day 8: Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca
As we leave after breakfast every day, we pass through the Rif Mountains, the olive groves, in an area full of olive oil presses, wheat plains, vegetables and sugar cane. We arrive in Rabat, the official capital of the country, where we visit the historical monuments: the Kasbah Oudaias, the Hassan Tower, Chella, and other parts of the city, before leaving for Casablanca to visit the famous Hassan II Mosque, a very spectacular construction, it is the tourist attraction of the city, the only mosque that can be visited by non-Muslims in the country. The third largest in the world, with the tallest temple tower in the world. Accommodation in Casablanca.
Day 9: Casablanca - El jadida - Safi - Essaouira
Today we go out by the Atlantic coast making short visits to the old cities of Portuguese architecture; with its towers and fortresses. These cities were rebuilt by the Portuguese in the 15th century, as ports to dominate world trade in that period. Azemmour, Aljadida and Safi, reaching the most famous of all Essaouira. Originally nominated Mogadore, which means in Berber language "fortress". Accommodation in Essaouira.
Day 10: Explore Essaouira - Marrakech
In the morning, after breakfast, it is time to discover the Medina of Essaouira, the port where boats and fishing boats are built, the terrace of the canons and the street market of the city, this is a good place to eat seafood, and bathing or sunbathing on the beach, later in the afternoon we will drive to Marrakech. Accommodation in Marrakech.
Day 11: Explore Marrakech
After breakfast, and with the local guide, we go out to explore the medina of Marrakech; visiting the botanical gardens of Majorel, the Koutoubia mosque, the tombs of Saadiès, the Bahia palace and the souks, we end up in the Jamaa el Fna square, the heart of the whole city, where you can have dinner and enjoy a lot with its typical surroundings, African atmosphere, acrobats, historians, singers, dances,... Day 12: Marrakech - Transfer to the Airport
Free morning to enjoy and visit, again, the square and the souks of the medina. Make the last purchases and rest after a long trip inside the country. Two hours before the flight, we have to leave at the Marrakech airport.
