Tour Program

Day 1: Rabat

Arrivel in the airport Rabat-Sale, the driver will be in your welcome and greetings, than transfers you to your accommodation in the old town of Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat Exploring

After breakfast we will go on a guided visit to the Medina and the monuments of the city around Rabat and Sale: kasbah Oudayas, Hassan Tower, Mohammed VI shrine, Challa and many other things and places to enjoy in this beautiful coastal city. Overnight at the same Hotel.

Day 3: Rabat - Assilah

Today will be a 200 km drive to the small fort Assilah, passing by Mahdia the old 17 century fort, built by Moulay Ismail, the founder of the actual dynasty, close to Kenitra one of the industrial cities of the country, than through the Algharb plains with its small villages , main land of agriculture for the whole Morocco. At the late afternoon we will arrive to the hotel in Assilah.

Day 4: Assilah Exploring

Today is a full day visit and relaxing day around the small peaceful town. Where you can enjoy some sun, wander around, and have some sea food. Overnight in the same hotel.

Day 5: Assilah - Tanger - Tetouan

After breakfast we go on a drive of 40 minutes before we be in the outskirts of Tanger, to visit Hercules cave, form of the map of Africa, and old archeological site, later the light house Cap Spartel, the meeting point of Mediterranean and Atlantic. And through the Rmilat park we drive to get to the old famous city of Tanger, a global visit of the old quarter and port, than drive in the new one before we leave to Tetouan the capital of the Spanish colony at the first fifties of the twentieth century. Overnight in Tetouan.

Day 6: Tetouan - Chefchaouen

A full day visit of the "White pigeon" Tetouan is an old beautiful place that gathers both, the traditional and the modern still of the north of Morocco. Late at the afternoon we leave to Chefchaouen the blue city. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 7: Chefchaouen Exploring

After breakfast you are invited to enjoy the art, the peace, and the beauty of the blue washed city, with its labyrinthic streets, it was a city founded at the 15 century by one of the famous leaders of north Morocco, defending the freedom of his land against the Spanish, and Portuguese stacks trying to envied, Moulay Ali Ben Rachid made of his city a strong fort with big walls, main gates, watch towers, and a Kasbah at the main square. In the afternoon a walk outside of the old Medina, to the water springs is a great idea, to watch women doing the laundry at the same time young people having some coffee in the little cofe shops. Before sunset it will be better to walk farther to Bouzafre mosque up at the other side of the valley, the you will get a spectacular view over the blue walls at the same time a unique sunset. Overnight at the same hotel.

Day 8: Chefchaouen - Ouazzan - Volubilis - Meknes

like every day, after breakfast we leave in direction south through the Rif mountains into the valleys of olive groves, in a small city called Ouazzan we go for a visit to an authentic old souk, it is a non touristy place, a very typical Medina that is not yet discovered for tourism, and not spoiled by touristy business, all the environment there is very Moroccan. Later the road will lead us to the Berber-roman ruins, Volubilis a Berber city ruins with a very strong touch of the Roman culture, the arches, the paved roads and the mosaics.... Than drive to Meknes: the last imperial city among the four Moroccan imperial cities. Founded at the 17th century by actual dynasty, the Alaouite dynasty. Moulay Ismail chosed it to be his capital. Overnight in Meknes.

Day 9: Meknes Exploring - Fes

Around 9:30 a local guide of the town will be with you to explore the Medina, and it's old monuments; the grain storage, the water tank "Essouani", the old prison Cara, the famous square "lahdim". Later at the afternoon we leave Meknes to go farther to Fes. Overnight in Fes.

Day 10: Fes - Cooking class

After breakfast you are invited to do some cooking class; first you go accompanied with our chef to choose, and buy the ingredients you will need to use, back home you will enjoy cooking your lunch, and learning to prepare your Moroccan table. Overnight at the same hotel.

Day 11: Fes exploring - Midelt

At the morning after breakfast you go with local guide to visit the old Medina of Fes, through the labyrinth of the old quarter you will discover plenty of treasures, and travel back in time to the medieval era, it is still one of the active old cities of more than 12 centuries of existence, and power, political and cultural. After lunch we will leave Fes, and through the Cedar forest we cross the Middle atlas mountains to arrive in Midelt. Overnight in Midelt.

Day 12: Midelt - Desert

Today we keep driving through the high Atlas, looking desert land, by the deep canyons we cat it or get to the famous Sahara desert. While driving there we will have many stops for panoramic, and land formation photos. At the afternoon before sunset we will be in the hotel where we drop the bags and prepare to ride the camels into the sand dunes, erg chibbi the famous Merzouga, watching the sunset, and under stars camping, are one of the highlights of your trip in Morocco. Overnight in the camp with dinner, and breakfast.

Day 13: Desert Exploring

At the early morning you will wake up to watch the sunrise, from the top of the sand, around the camp. Get your breakfast and shower before you ride again out of the Erg, we meet the car and drive to explore the Berber villages, the oasis, and the local market. By the afternoon you will drive back to the sand dunes, to your hotel, at the feet of the highest dunes. Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 14: Desert Music and cooking class

Today will be a relaxing day, after breakfast we will drive to a small restaurant in the middle of nowhere, in the village of black people Gnaoua, used to be slaves, at the old time, some were caravaners. The restaurant is owned by a native of the village, Elhousain our chef will teach you how to make the local bread "Madfouna" and the Moroccan dish "Rfissa". After lunch you will attend some local music "Gnaoua", and drive back to the hotel. Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 15: Desert - Erfoud -Toudra valley - Dades & Rose valley

After breakfast we drive by Erfoud, there we visit a factory where fossils are polished, this city is famous with fossils, and dates, where a big festival of dates take place every October. A 150 km drive will take us through the valleys, and oasis, before we arrive to the Toudra canyons, 310m high, atractive place for rock climbers, a walk by the river into the canyon is recommended before we drive to Dades valley, in some way different from Toudra. Overnight in Rose valley.

Day 16: Rose valley explore - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou

After breakfast we go for a hike through the fields of rose bushes, alfalfa, and many other crops local people harvest in these little fields. We can visit a house of local people where we will live some moments of hospitality of the Moroccan Berbers. After tea and chatting a bit with these warm feelings people, we will drive farther to the city of movies and cenimatography industry. Ouarzazate with its studios, and scenerys, famous as the Hollywood of Africa. There we can visit one of the props where famous movies took place. Farther to a wonderful Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou; famous for movies, and humanity heritage by UNESCO. Walk into the old village and watch sunset from the watchtower, up on the hill. Overnight in Ait Ben Haddou.

Day 17: Ait Ben Haddou - Agdez - Zagora

Today we drive through the volcanic mountains of the Anti Atlas, to go on the journey inside the fabulous Dra Valley with around 4 millions of date palms. With its old Ksar, and Kasbah, there you live the contrast of Sahara desert, and the beauty of nature; the hard life in the dark mountains and the likelihood of the little agriculture by the river banks. Deep in the valley we get to the downtown Zagora, one of the gates to Sahara desert, not far we visit a small village of pottery, and an old library and school of the 14 century "Azzaouia al nassiria" Tamegrout. Back to Zagora overnight.

Day 18: Zagora - Tata - Tafraoute

Deep in land into the valleys of the anti Atlas, in the land old prehistoric carved rocks, mines, and Meteorites; our journey will lead us, to Tata, Tassinte, and many other towns to hiding inside the country, even far of the reach of tourists, and explorers. It is the profound Morocco. Full of tradition, culture, hospitality, and simplicity, this road will lead our way to Tafraoute the pearl of the western Anti Atlas. Overnight in Tafroute.

Day 19: Tafraoute - Exploring valleys

Full day to explore the place around, if you like to ride either donkeys or Bikes, will be a great idea. Today we go through the valleys, and visit Kasbah. Lunch with a local family. Overnight at the same hotel.

Day 20: Tafroute - Amtoudi - Sidi Ifnie

After breakfast we drive through the valley to a famous "Kasbah" a forte of the ancient time Amtoudi crowning a huge mountain, with a beautiful Vally and water springs around, later we drive to Taghajijt than cross to the coast it is the Atlantic, one of the beautiful beaches of the country, with a peacefull village. It is called Sidi Ifni. Overnight in Sidi Ifni.

Day 21: Sidi Ifnie - Tiznit - Agadir - Essaouira

Today is a long drive almost 350km to the north, always by the coast, driving by Tiznit; the city of jewelry since the past still today a best destination for people that are interested in Moroccan hand made jewelry of silver, and other metals. Agadir; a modern city a big destination for the Scandinavian and European people for the sunny weather all over the year. Late at the afternoon we will arrive to Essaouira. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 22: Essaouira Exploring

Today is exploring day for the old Essaouira, the port, and the fish market; the canyon terrace "Sqqala", the Jewish quarter, and the labyrinth of the streets where the souks, and the little shops are. Out of the active Medina the sea sidewalk, and the beach, where you can watch the surfers, at the same time watch sunset. Overnight at the same hotel.

Day 23: Essaouira - Marrakech

Drive to Marrakech, it will take around 3 hours drive, while we arrive we go on a guided visit to the monuments of the city; the Saadien tombs, Bahia palace, the coranic school Ben Yousef, the souks, them end in the famous attractive square "Jamaa el Fna". Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 24: Marrakech

Free day in Marrakech. The car will be on disposal. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 25: Day trip to High Atlas

Day trip to the mountains the high Atlas, to discover the Berber villages and land around Marrakech. The Ourika valley, Tahnaoute, and Imlil. Back home to Marrakech.

Day 26: Marrakech - Ouzoud waterfalls

We leave to Ouzoud waterfalls, in the region of Azilal, in the high Atlas, passing by Demnate, there we stop to visit an archaeological site where we can see some footprints of dinosaurs, than a natural bridge called "Ifri". By the afternoon we arrive to the water falls. Overnight in Ouzoud.

Day 27: Ouzoud Valley hike

Full day to hike around, and explore the beautiful land, and Berber villages. At the afternoon we drive to Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 28: Ouzoud - Safi - Al Jadida

After breakfast we drive again in direction of the coast, to Safi famous with its Portuguese forte, and the pottery, later by lunch time in a lagoon called Oualidia we can have some see food. Always by the seaside we keep driving to achieve El Jadida. Overnight in El Jadida.

Day 29: Al Jadida - Casablanca

Morning we visit the famous forte, the old water tank, the theater, and the souks around, before we head to Casablanca, to the biggest Mall in Morocco called Morocco mall to do some shopping and drive to the hotel. Overnight in Casablanca.

Day 30: Casablanca - Rabat

After breakfast we go on a guided tour in Casablanca, the mosque Hassan II, Rick's cofe, the seaside walk, the Habous quarter.... Later drive to Rabat.

Day 31: Rabat - Airport

Prepare your suitcases, and drive to the airport.
