At 9:00 a.m., we meet our driver at the hotel reception. After the greeting, and welcome, we went out on the slopes for adventure, enjoying our cultural day, starting with a tour of the date palm forests, it is the largest palm valley in Morocco and Africa, with 10 million date palms. Erfoud one of its largest cities; the capital of date fruit in Morocco, where the international date festival is held every year in October. Rissani with more than 350 fortified villages called Ksour scattered in the palm fields, we are invited to take a walk in one of them to discover the style of these buildings and their history, with one of the local families we had a cup of hot tea. A visit to the local market is recommended. The experience in this original market is unique with its donkey parking, different parts of the market (donkeys, goats, vegetables, clothing and more ...) lunch recommended typical Madfouna bread. Later, the asphalt road will take us south to the village, still purely dark people, originally from Maly, who still preserves many traditions from the homeland of Gao, Azawad and Soudan, their music is very typical African, you can attend one of the songs in one of the local musicians' associations around the town, before driving to the sand dunes, for a camel ride to the summit, one of the highest sand dunes, to watch the spectacular sunset in the Merzouga dunes. Later, when you return from the camel ride, and at sunset, we will drive to the hotel for 40 minutes. drop you off at your accommodation.
* A hike in the Ziz valley is recommended to discover daily life and villages, have a cup of tea with a local family from the valley.
