Aljadida Full-day Trip from Casablanca

After breakfast we leave in direction south west of Casablanca, in an hour drive to reach Al Jadida, called Mazagan at the old time, nowadays a big Modern city since the beginning of the 20th century by the French, one of the main ports of Morocco, an one of the important agricultural cities. It is famous with its Berber-Arab strain of horses, and the old forte dated to 1514 built by the Portuguese colonisation, which makes the heart of the city, and the most important monument of Al Jadida, declared humanity heritage by UNESCO. A forte built at the Portuguese architecture, surrounded by four squared towers, and a thick wall dominating a the small city inside, a church on the Manueliane style, a reservoir of water, with beautiful arches; which produces by reflection on the water of the tank, a surprising mirror effect permeating the place of a nice atmosphere. An old Jewish building is taking place inside the same walls, with the Manueline church, and the old mosque, all side to side. Sea food restaurants and Souks are just around the site.
All this attractions need a whole day to explore live and enjoy. In the way back we pass by the old city Azemmour, there around the old walls we can sail at the river Oum Rabia and take wonderful pictures of the walls, and sunset before driving back to Casablanca.
